ABOUT ABOUT

Main Event: Competitors will start serving at 12pm. Votes will be counted at 3pm. The event will include local restaurants, businesses and neighborhood cooks competing against each other for the title “Best Mac & Cheese in Chester County”. Entrance will be limited based on number of competitors - so everyone with a ticket will be fed. The community will be asked to pay a $10 per head entrance fee ($5 for children ages 6 - 12) to sample each participant’s dish. A panel of judges will judge each mac & cheese dish, as well as the community will vote for People’s Choice and Kid’s Choice winners.

VIP Ticket / Hometown Showdown: Eight Competitors will serve from 11am-12:30pm only. Votes will be counted at 12:30pm. The event will include individuals and families competing against each other for the title “Best Mac & Cheese in Chester County”. Only 225 VIP tickets at $20 will be available. Ticket includes Hometown Showdown from 11-12:30pm; Main Event Cookoff from 12-3:00pm; and one beverage.

Make sure to hang out after you have voted to watch the students and staff of TCHS produce the inaugural Chester County's Gratest Chef Competition from 1-3pm. Three local elite Chef's from around the County will compete against each other to produce three spectacular dishes for a small panel of judges using pantry items provided by Kimberton Whole Foods. And yes, we will throw in last minute surprise ingredients to really test their skills. Their goal: win money for their charity and win the title of Chester County's Gratest Chef.

Music and kids activities will run until 4pm.  Friendly dogs welcome. Pop-up East Branch Brewing Beer Garden open from 11:30-4pm.  If you prefer to sit while eating or enjoying the live music, bring a lawn chair. Parking is available at the event or elsewhere in town.
